DESCRIPTION:  West Houghton Lake Campground is a quiet family campground located in northern Michigan, near Houghton Lake...Michigan's largest inland lake.We are across the street from the west shore DNR boat launch on beautiful Houghton Lake.

AMENITIES:  Pavilion, game room, camp store, ice, laundry, restrooms and showers, propane filling station up to 100 lbs, wireless internet, dump station, grass sites, playground, walking trails, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball court, baseball field, pets welcome, tenting.

DIRECTIONS: From US-127: Exit at M-55, go east toward Houghton Lake, approximately 1/2 mile to the first stop light (old US-27). Turn left (North) and we are on the left about 1/2 mile. From I-75  Exit M-55, go west toward Houghton Lake, approximately 15 miles to old US-27. Turn right and we are on the left about 1/2 mile.  We are across from the DNR boat ramp on old US-27.

8/09  CURRENT RATES BEFORE DISCOUNT:  $20 a night for tenting, $25 a night for electric only, $30 a night for water and electric, and $33 a night for water, electric, and sewer.  AC or electric heater use is an add'l $3 a day.

USAGE: 25% discount is valid Sunday through Thursday, except holiday weekends- from the weekend before Memorial Day to the weekend after Labor day.  After that, discount is allowed every day.
